Why coaching creativity, and why use creativity coaching to help creators specialize in business?

The process of creating is how anything gets done, art as well as business.

Kaizen-Muse creativity coaching honors, and celebrates, the non-linear way of being human. An imperfect human with messy bits and fantastic bits, and everything in between.

That deep knowledge of the creative process and the creative person, is, in my opinion, invaluable in business too.

As multi passions lead to multi skills, these skills can be used to create a super insightful specialized business.

All of my multi-passionate clients, without exception, have been incredibly smart, knowledgeable, adaptable, quick learners, brave like you wouldn’t believe, and with a strong sense of self.

Too many of us renaissance types have been dismissed as being flimsy, unintelligent, too sensitive, superficial, or similar unattractive labels, just because we haven’t picked a straight line in life.

I reckon we’ve proved that we need creative thinkers and doers to create better, and more sustainable, solutions for people and planet, don’t you?

What I do, is look at the creative person and the entrepreneur, connect dots in a way that is specific to you, and help you set a foundation for a specialized creative business, and it’s a marvelous job.

Creators Process is a place of practice

The photographs on this website are, obviously, by me. :) I know, they are very much in process and imperfect, and that is actually the essence of my coaching philosophy;

We are all creators, imperfect, and in process.

The process of creating is as fun, meaningful, and fantastic, as it is hard, fear-inducing, and triggering. And sometimes, all we need, is a little help to see where to go next.

My training and experience

My first online business was a vintage clothes webshop, where I bought quality vintage clothes from around Europe and sold them in my webshop. This was a jump-in-feet-first experience. I knew nothing about online business, but dove into SEO and website design.

As well as being a certified kaizen-muse creativity coach since 2014, and a qualified Teaching Assistant, I’ve done training in graphic design, UX, and digital marketing training at Business College, not to mention a bunch of online business courses, worth thousands of dollars (Omg. I know!)

The psychology and pedagogy training goes well with coaching and gives me a good understanding of people, with a personal special interest in those of us who identify as multi-creative.

As well as coaching, I work temporarily for a brick-and-mortar-clothes shop a couple of days a week, bringing this 50-year-old brand online.

I’m learning how to live simpler and greener, and I believe there’s not much point in starting a business today, unless it’s trying to create better conditions for people and planet. Art certainly does that.
